Full length trousers worn for riding which are tapered or straight. They often have a loop of material or elastic that can be passed under the foot to prevent them from riding up the leg. They are generally made from elastic material with patches at the knee or a layer or patch of non-slip material in the seat and on the inside of the leg (where a rider is in contact with a saddle). Jodhpurs are worn with short riding boots known as jodhpur boots.
