A special piece of equipment used for lungeing which may be similar to a bridle or a headcollar. It consists of a headpiece, a throatlatch and a noseband. The noseband is strengthened (in some cases with a core of metal) and equiped with one or more rings to which the lunge rein can be attached. Some forms allow a bit to attached.
