Piece of equipment used for lunging or vaulting. It sits just behind the whithers around the horse's trunk and consists of a girth and a wide strap that lies over the horse's back. On a vaulting roller, handles are attached to left and the right side of the dorsal (upper) part of the roller. A lunging roller has rings fitted to the dorsal part, through which one can run long reins or attach auxiliary reins.
