Boots used for riding which tightly enclose the calf and extend to just below the knee. Typically made of leather, but may also be made of plastic. Most models have a zip along the back of the leg to make them easier to pull on. The sole has a flat profile and a well defined heel to prevent the rider from slipping through the stirrup entirely.
